I expected a richer, thick cream based on the description, but it is definitely a gel cream texture. While I cannot speak to the blemish relief, after a week of consistent use, I noticed that my skin was visibly plump with a glow. I am 40+ and have very dry skin. This moisturized more than I expected for the texture. It absorbed into my skin very quickly (not a lot of patting needed). It did leave a little stickiness, but nothing that interfered with makeup application. I ordered this during Prime day, so the price was excellent. I would repurchase, even if it wasn't on sale. Note, the size of tube seems small, but do not need much for your face, so use sparingly.
