I'd previously used medicube's Exosome Shot PDRN Pink Collagen 2,000 PPM Spicule, so I had a good idea of what to expect from spicules. Even so, I immediately noticed that the 7,500 PPM version has a much stronger prickly sensation. It definitely got my attention, but it never crossed into uncomfortable territory for me. The serum spreads easily, and I gently pat it into my skin rather than rubbing it around. I personally use it as a once-a-week regenerative treatment. After applying it, I follow with plenty of hydrating and barrier-supporting products, and my skin has been very happy with that routine. If you're completely new to spicules, I'd personally recommend starting with one of the lower-strength versions before jumping to a 7,500 PPM formula. Building up gradually may make the experience much more enjoyable. Everyone's skin is different, but despite seeing reviews mentioning stinging or discomfort, that wasn't my experience. I could absolutely feel the spicules, but my skin tolerated them well. Overall, I found this to be a unique and enjoyable addition to my routine.
It tingles a little bit so if you don't like tingling this won't be for you. I personally love it though and its one of my favourite serums!
This does tingle a little bit when I apply it but it is working. I was previously using the 2,000 exosome version and that didn't do much. This does feel like it's working and I notice less redness. It's not sticky and doesn't dry my skin out.
With just one use my skin thanked me for it. It improves your skin from day one of use
This is a very effective product but not for the faint of heart. You must work up to it! Patience is key. I worked up from azelaic serums of increasing strength and used the 2000 level of this product before getting this one. It helps my redness like nothing else has and gives my skin a glowy look.
