ATOBARRIER 365 Hydro Essence

omg, I LOVE this essence. It’s already a staple & subscription and I’m still finishing my first bottle. I have mature, naturally dry, “low oil” skin and struggle to keep the “scaffolding” / upper dermis layer of my skin hydrated and strong.

This essence gives me deeper hydration than I’m able to get from most toners and helps me prep, smooth, soften, and ignite the rest of my products to max benefit as well. I put in cupped fingers, rub hands and apply it to face and neck - can even use a second layer on top after it dries and it still soaks in and moisturizes like a dream. It layers amazingly with everything.

I can’t speak to how it handles on oily or combo skin, but for my skin, it is so nourishing and soothing and leaves my skin in better condition than most other toners / essence I’ve used, and I’ve tried SO many - expensive and less expensive, from various k beauty and other brands - milky / watery - you name it, many of them are also excellent and I still rotate through them for flooding, misting, devices, etc., but this essence is one of my holy grail staples. I use twice a day with the cream mist and ma:nyo panthetoin toner which has helped restore and maintain my tricky & reactive skin, keeps it nourished and baby soft, and allows me to use actives and devices without upper dermal “collapse” or TEWL. Most peeps won’t need the extra layers of hydration I’ve described - my skin is just weird - but this product def stands on its own as well. I stockpiled this on Black Friday, along with the atobarrier cream and cream mist. I’m an aestura believer now - this brand is so good and the lipids / hydration balance is perfection.

If you’re considering it, just try it. I can’t imagine being without it now.

Beautiful Korean serum, I tried this based on numerous online suggestions and it’s fantastic. I have very dry skin and really sinks in and gives a subtle glow.
